While the past few months have been divisive to the Democratic Party due to having two strong candidates for President, now that the nominee is apparent, it is time for us - ALL OF US - to make a concerted effort to unite the party behind the nominee, Senator Barack Obama.
While this has been called for in numerous posts and comments, it cannot be stressed enough. There are, understandably, hard feelings being experienced by Senator Clinton's supporters that cannot be overlooked, trivialized or ignored, nor should they.
Consider for a moment how each of us Obama supporters would feel if the shoe were on the other foot and it was us who had to unite behind another candidate. We would feel angry, neglected, frustrated and left out.
